lovely port but we did not dock until 2pm and left at 5am the next morning . Best part for us was going through the canal locks on our approach

It would have been much better had we been able to dock near Central Station instead of 20 minutes away. Free shuttle provided by HAL but there was confusion as to pick up point. Too much walking. We had a hop on hop off bus tour on our own.

Port to town was walkable but it is quite a hike. The city was quite dirty ( Sunday morning) with the streets not cleaned from the night before. We pre ordered tickets for the Ann Frank house then did a walking tour
