Purchase Holland Pass to skip lines and get into museums easily. Beware of bikers!! they are everywhere and do not stop.

The tour to the Ann Frank house was a good choice.

Went to the gardens. They were spectacular! Again, a pretty expensive port to visit. 5 euro for a coffee.

We paid about €24 for two of us for a canal tour and you do see so much of the city this way, it really gives the best views. Be aware that you will need small change in most public toilets though, take plenty of coins average is about 50-70cents

Took a quick tour then headed for the airport... we have been several times recently but enjoyed a nice morning on the canals.

The canal boat ride was super. We saw beautiful homes and the house boats all along the canal banks were very interesting.

We arrived in Amsterdam early morning Sunday of the cruise day and took the train from the airport to the train station. Locked our bags at the station and then looked for breakfast. I can say Amsterdam near the train station Sunday morning looks like the day after Mardi Gras in New Orleans...trash everywhere we walked with cleaning crews hosing down the streets and sidewalks. I assume there is more to see in this city but first impressions were not good. Amsterdam is a lot like the Tour de France...lots of bikers all on drugs.
