We hired a private driver and explored the Amalfi Coast, then went to Pompeii. We could see a lot because it was the off season so the roads weren’t packed with tourists. In summer, probably best to stick with one place. Great place to try the limoncello!

We had been here before but we did a cruise of the Amalfi Coast that was fabulous. We also did Pompeii which we had done before and it was nearly 100 degrees but still an awesome place.

Our cruise itinerary never mentioned Salerno. Even our final confirmation never mentioned this port. Royal Caribbean has been travelling here for over 1 1/2 yrs, and your website was outdated. We purchased tickets for Capri, and lost $100 due to the fact we were in Salerno and not Naples. This was a very bad error on the part of Cruise 411. Apparently your software is incorrect. None of your paperwork mentions Salerno, although Royal Caribbean has been going to that port . This was not a Port Change, We purchased Hydrofoil tickets on-line based on the information given us on our confirmation paperwork. When we arrived to board the hydrofoil, we were told we were not in Naples, but in Salerno. Needless to say, we could not use our tickets, at a loss of $100. We had to take a boat to Amalfi, rather than lose a day of sightseeing, and never got to see apri. This was a very serious error. If we were meeting relatives in Naples, it would have been disastrous.
