It was good and excursion was bad. We hired a private tour which was nothing more than a glorified taxi.

Signed for a hop on - hop off bus immediately after disembarking, preplanned this day and already had tickets for the Acropolis Museum and a bundle pass for Athens historical sites to skip the ticket line. Only had time to see the Temple of Zeus, eat, see the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis area but it was more than enough to make it the best day. Pleasantly surprised with minimal wait times.

Did the Gardens Walking tour, this was as expected.

Departure from the boat was quicker than I thought it would be. We were the last off, at about 9:30am. If you arrange a taxi in advance, you don't need to schedule it for 1pm as we did, ha ha!

Loved the port but our guide was only so so. She didn’t talk a great deal and left us on our own. It would have been nicer to get more detailed explanation of what was there.

Athens is a crowded, somewhat gritty city. We did a tour plus a trip to Delphi

Too many people at the Acropolis to really appreciate/enjoy.

Overall a very clean port. One of our favorites.

Didn't trust celebrity, hired my own guide.

We wish we had more time there as the Acropolis takes half a day. I look forward to visiting again.
