Great beach near port.

We did the "Just take a Selfie" tour and was a bit disappointed -- mostly because it stated there was a "stop at the Acropolis" when in actuality it was a stop on the sidewalk way below and it was like "up there is the Acropolis". We expected we were going TO the Acropolis which we did not. All items on the "we will visit list" were basically walk-bys and we did not gain entrance to any of the places. Basically if you had a map you could do this on your own though the convenience of a bus taking you from one place to the other was nice because there is no way I would ever want to drive in Rome!!!

We had been here a few times before, this time took an independent half day tour that was organized by another passenger on board. Visited the acropolis, olympic stadium, changing of the guards, and Plaka. 65 euro, well priced.

Too crowded

Historic, good food, but be. Prepared for large crowds at Acropolis.

Happily, off the ship and directly to the airport. We did not go to Athens and the traffic is terrible.

Nothing is walking distance from the port. We did a panoramic tour of Athens and battled (then abandoned) the mobs of people walking up the Acropolis. In the Plaka (?) there was time to grab a quick gyros and souvenir.
