Ancient sites and museum were great. The city not so much. You need to try the Greek Yogurt. Better than anything I have ever had in US.

Athens is a big city and dirty (strike was in progress so garbage was piled up). Also we couldn't get into the Acropolis because of the strike. We decided we don't think we ever need to go back to Athens. Plaka shopping area was fun.

Was there in 2005, gone downhill. They are taking the Parthenon apart, not much left on the Acropolis
