Traffic is a nightmare, so we did not get off the bus to tour Athens.

A great guided tour with a well versed guide once again.

I explored Athens after the cruise was over as I stayed an extra 2 days.

Did the excusion to the Acropolis, but it was a wasted of time due to the crowds and short time allowed. We pretty much had to leave as soon as we arrived. Walk up was slippery and hazardous. Do not attempt this unless you have good shoes and no mobility problems.

We also enjoyed our Athens stop. The 8 hour excursion was a little long and we were not prepared for the lack of food or water in the hot sun. We wish there had been a little more communication because it was a very long day without an opportunity to eat until the end. We still really enjoyed this excursion and saw lots of things while in Athens.

We actually like this place along the water. Don’t ask for directions here as 18 out of 20 people will send you off. In the wrong direction. Cabs are out to rob you blind. Insist they use the meter! Please!

Not exactly a port of call because this is where we started the cruise. We were in Athens for 3 days and organized our own itinerary.

We stayed overnight the day before our cruise. We walked around the area and it is super cute.
