We did the Acropolis and Plaka by foot tour. great tour..lots of walking We chose to eat off the ship this evening (easy taxi ride) and found a great little harbor restaurant to enjoy local food.

We did another Shore Excursions Group tour - it was a great tour of the Acropolis. Loved seeing everything, but after seeing the buildings, we left because you really couldn’t get close to them or walk through them. I respect their decisions but it really limits what you can get from the experience.

We did the Parthenon tour early in the AM before it got too hot. FYI, they have an elevator that can take you to the top and down. My knee was killing and I rode down. Quite an experience Went shopping in plakas. Best place in Greece to shop. Things were 1/2 what I paid in other Greek ports. Guide gave terrible instructions on how to find bus and it took an hour waking in the intense heat to find our bus. Not a good way to end our day

A must see. Make sure you are on an early morning excursion and see The Acropolis first!

We took an open top hop on hop off tour bus to the Acropolis and saw where the first ever Olympics was held.

Very interesting-used taxis to get around but traffic is Horrible!

Good tour of Athens

Very hot when we visited, and very crowded. Busy city. Don’t do too much.

Toured Athens previous to the cruise. Loved the city - shopping, restaurants, etc.
