There are several major sites at this port including the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. The optional Hot Air Balloon Ride over the Valley of the Queens was exception and the highlight of our trip.

Loved the tors. The Karnak and Luxor Temples were amazing. The Valley of the Kings & Queen Neferteri's tomb exceeded our expectations. Loved waking up to see the many hot air balloons flying over the Valley of the Kings . (optiomal tour we did not do)

The excursion to the Temple of Karnak was informative and the time there was just right. Our guide was excellent.

Long bus ride through desert. Amazing look along the Nile on how today's Egyptians live. I took included tour to Karnak Temple and was amazed. Look for color restorations on the huge columns there. Would have been nice to cross Nile to Valley of the Kings but pricey.
