Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy Port Reviews

We toured the City of Florence by bus which included a walking tour. A breath taking city that we will try to return to.

This is a hard port because of how far everything of interest is from Lorvino. This was the only day we did an excursion, choosing one that went to Florence for a few hours and the a wine tasting in a Tuscan Castle. We booked the excursion through Norwegian the day before and it was worth what we paid. We did not see Piza. I think would be hard to really see Piza and Florence in one day. The shopping and dining in Florence was amazing!

We did the take a selfish tour it was awesome. Great tour of Florence. 35 min stop at the Pisa.

Our final day and our final excursion and it was PERFECT!!!

Did winery tour which was nice.

we booked a Bus transfer with Tuscanybus.com. The visit at Pisa and the Basilica on Miracle square was stunning. It is magnificent in real life. There were ALOT of people in the plaza but it was still very fun and worth the cost of the bus. Lots of vendor and small shops and even an express grocery store just outside the walls of Miracle Square. We stocked up on drinks and snacks and carried them on the ship.

We booked a private driver and went to Volterra and San Gimignano - both beautiful, old places.

Wine tour -- Amazing.

We visited a Tuscan farmhouse and had the most wonderful time!

I did not like Livorno. It had confusing streets and hard to get around. I took the shuttle in to Livorno. I should have stayed on the ship! Pisa was wonderful. Florence was too crowded. We only saw sites from the outside. I did the Pisa and Florence excursion.
