Another lovely city, friendly people, easy city to get around. Fruit & fish markets are fab to visit & people watch.

Chose Historic Split walking tour which wasn't much, but we had purchased Priority Pass which gave $50 off per cabin per day for excursions. Weather was perfect so a leisurely walk around the park was nice.

No excursion needed. Beautiful port and city, plenty to walk around including the old Palace which is part of the town. Worth climbing to the top of the bell tower for amazing views. We were so lucky with blue skies in November for this lovely port

I much prefer Kotor and Dubrovnik to Split. There is a lot of tat along the main street of the port and a lot of more "upscale" restaurateurs further along. But it all feels commercial. Diocletian's Palace is worth the price of admission €10.

When my daughter told the guide she was a vegetarian she refused to notify the kitchen & told my daughter she should have notified them when she booked the excursion although there as was no where on form to do so! As a result my daughter did not eat (about $139 excursion). When the kitchen manager asked if she liked the food my daughter told her she did not eat. The manager asked why they were not notified by the guide because they had several options on the menu that were vegetarian she could have been served with no problem. When we address this with the ship excursion desk they were mot helpful nor was she compensated!
