get so sick of the rug visits- especially when they herd everyone in, and then close the door

As it was a very warm day, we had to quickly view Ephesus before returning to the shade trees. It was more crowded there and the walkway was difficult as the stones were large and uneven.

Yes, my tour and guide was excellent.

Ephesus was a long ways away ($100 for a taxi driver, and then you find out you have to pay 40 euros apiece to take a 2-mile hike through the place. All of the greek isles were brown, not green like one would expect. Stay in Italy!

Wonderful tour. We liked the port

Last trip, we did an excellent excursion to Ephesus. This trip we took a taxi to Sirince, a lovely artist town in the hills. The taxi driver was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to walk around the various shops etc. It was a nice breezy place to visit on an extended hot morning. Tge afternoon was spent happily wandering around Kusadasi.

Some nice areas but otherwise a dump. Been there, done that! Ephesus (30 mns away) was fantastic.

We went on a private tour as Viking didn't have an itinerary that allowed us to see all the sites in this port. The private tour did have all the sites in one tour and we spent the same amount of time as Viking's included tour and saw more sites.

Did excursion to Ephesus. Excellent!

This tour was great, still very hot.
