Great place. Friendly folks but they will steal you blind and lie about everything. Wonderful people though and it is fun getting ripped off there.

Took a small group tour with a FANTASTIC guide who was remarkably well read, articulate, and fun. At the end of Ephesus took us to a small ceramic place where the creation of ceramics was demonstrated and we could purchase home made ceramics without any pressure.

Wonderful experience. Should have stayed longer. Recommend adding a Turkish bath experience to your list and a list of recommended vendors... there's sooooo much here that could be explored!

The guide was terrific. He was interesting, engaging, informative, funny--and proud of his people.

To get into town you have to walk under a covered walkway jam packed with folk trying to sell you everything you don’t need! It was a relief to make the sidewalk outside the terminal. Trying to get back in when it was the same route for four ships in port trying to embark passengers had to be experienced to be believed. Dissappointing.

Besides the ancient site of Ephesus, not a great city to visit. Beaches were dirty and not a great city to explore

We took a small group tour from a Turkish firm. We ended up to be the only couple so we had a private tour. We had a super day.
