Beautiful port, I'd recommend you get up early and watch the ship going into port, the scenery is stunning, I was truly amazed. I didn't know what to expect, the old town is walkable from the cruise port and its wonderful.

While in Kotor, one should do a hiking to visit the fortification and castle of St Giovanni at top of the mountain of St John where one can have a marvlous view of the Old Town of Kotor. The whole exercise would take about one & a half hour.

Loved Kotor! The winding streets, the cats, the marketplace. It was exactly as I imagined. Beautiful town.

The island was beautiful but I made a mistake of doing the ship organized kayaking trip. It said it was for beginners but it definitely was not.

Spectacular setting and scenery. Nice old town, too! Delicious gelato in the main square.
