Just a small port with a short walk into the centre with a long street of shops and some nice bars on the front overlooking the sea there was a handy double decker bus to take you round the island

We did the tour of ancient Olympia and the Greek food tour. The tour of old ancient Olympia was a bit of disappointment..most of the original structures are gone..there are ruins..and they are in the process of reconstructing the old temples/monuments. I think we should have gone to see where the Olympic torch is ignited during each Olympic year..we did not see on this tour. The Greek lunch was on the other hand- fabulous..with lots of great food and wine and authentic Greek dancing. Lots of fun and audience involvement in making Greek lunch favorites.
