Trip of a lifetime! So glad we were able to go. We did the culinary tastes & Cuba Excursion. Our guide was wonderful, seeing the island first hand is a must!

The ship was in Havana for two days. We took a general bus tour the first day; went to the Tropicana night club that night (do not miss this, it is sensational), and did a "farm to table" on the second day. All three excursions were great.

This is what made the trip worth it. You don’t need an excursion to get off the boat. Get off and go explore - we had several mojitos, food, and walked all over the city. It’s a really safe city and it’s like no where I’ve ever been in the world.

Loved this place. We took a carriage tour and then got a map and did our own tour. Met many artists in park near water. Unable to do everything we wanted due to time. Will go again. People were great, food delicious and coffee amazing.

Loved Havana. After many years wanting to visit I was glad to finally be able to. Friendly people, beautiful (though neglected) architecture, much history. All the things I could hope for when traveling.

I would like to thank the Cuban people for their hospitality. This truly was my best port. My family did a third party tour (my only negative is getting off the ship for this. It was not managed properly and we were 30 mins late for our tour even when arriving 90 min prior)

You don't have to select a tour of Havana through the cruise ship. We booked a private tour with toursbylocals.com. Our guides name was Joe and we highly recommend him. He created an amazing tour of all of Havana. First we walked the streets, then a classic car ride, mojito class as the sun set over Havana on a roof deck and finally dropped us off at an amazing restaurant. We felt very safe and he gave us tips on navigating the street vendors. We gained insight on real life in Cuba.

Such a rich culture and amazing diversity... the cigars and rum weren't too bad either! ;-) Had dinner at a sidewalk cafe 5blks from port and ate a lobster dinner with mojito for $25. Be sure to check out Fusterlandia and the neighborhood of Mosaic tile! Want to go back soon!
