We took the Old Havana walking tour through Royal Caribbean. Our tour guide was nice and very informative. They took us around a lot of the historical sites and we got to see the classic cars. At the end of our tour they took us to a place where we got to try a Cuban Cigar, Cuban Coffee and Cuban Rum. That was pretty neat. They then took us to a place to buy those three things if you would like.

I loved Cuba. I did 3 shore excursions. Ultimate Havana, Walking tour of Old Havana and the show at the Nationale hotel. The ultimate Havana tour was not that great. Way too much time was spent at a very small store. Could have seen more if it moved a little quicker. The cabaret at the Nationale was excellent, and the walking tour was a great way to really see the city and the architecture.

This port was AMAZING! We had such a blast. All the main attractions (aside from the Cigar factories and Revolution Plaza) are within walking distance from the Cruise Terminal. If you're looking for excursions from the ship, check out Havana Vintage Car Tours or Cuban Adventures! They're Great!

Just an awful place. I know many reviews of Cuba have been raving. My review is not. Sad depressed place, I feel sorry for people who are stuck there and understand why so many people risked and in some cases lost thier life trying to escape Cuba. Bless our tour guide...she was so friendly and cheery as our luxury Chinese made motor coach passed thru poverty and ruins. The people in thier neighborhoods seemed so sad. Our tour guide told us that her family got to use running water almost everyday from 8 to 5pm. An article I had read warned us that it may look like the town took a severe hit from the hurricanes but said it was indeed Fidel that had come thru. I was excited as we came into the port in the 5am darkness, the city looked so awesome. Then the sun came up and ruined that...but I was still excited about getting on the tour bus, but by the time I got back to the ship I regretted I had booked the overnight stay cruise. The people that work and hang out around the port area are so nice. I was curious about Cuba and they were curious about the outside world. But it was obvious they had all consumned too much of the coolaid, selling thier t shirts with the image of Che Guevara. My second morning in Havana I went to the market about ten short blocks down from the scary old terminal. Again nothing but friendly helpful people. They were very different from the people in the neighborhoods that walked around with blank expressions. I gave it three stars because of the friendly people and I think everyone should go to appreciate what we have here in the free world. 12 hours in Havana with no signs of any purpose in life, no signs of hope and no signs! They have almost no Commercial signage anywhere. I never thought I'd ever long to see an ugly aluminium building with a title max sign out front but Cuba gave me the gift of appreciating free market capitalism in a way a documentary on socialism never could. Our tour guide said that Cuba is famous for health care and education. I'm not sure what the point of either of those is if your going to live there all your life. Straight out of collage the government assigns you a job like it or not for at least two years. We should all get down on our knees and thank God we have political bickering, division and disagreements in the free western world. Go to Cuba and you will understand. Thats another reason I have it three stars, the lesson and paradigm shift is life altering if you'll keep your eyes open. This is much different than Belize and Rotan, Belize is a brave new exciting world compared to Cuba. one might say we should go to Cuba in droves and support their economy and gen something up, but it is pointless.

We booked our own private tour through Havana Journeys and comparing our experience to others, we had a much better tour for the price. Either way you choose, the tour is very educational and worth seeing Havana.

We took a privately arranged tour of city which was all day and evening in vintage cars and on foot with guides for $70 per person. Very pleased with tour & guides.

Pre Cuba stressful to ensure paperwork in place - need Visa when checking in Day One. Only had to show passport for actually entering country. Beautiful country with friendly people. Able to take pictures everywhere and walk around after excursion. No machine guns or military presence. Old cars are a tourist attraction. Typical large city.

I loved this port & walked and explored for hours. Christmas night there was a Hugh free concert in the main plaza are with entertainment provided by The Havana Social Club entertainers. The waterfront market is huge with massive amounts of fabulous original art. The ship docks right in the center of town.

We scheduled 2 tours with Urban Adventures (we had an overnight stay). One walking tour of the 4 Plazas in Old Havana with a delicious lunch included and the vintage car tour of Havana with an extended private 2 hrs to visit Fusterlandia. The people were welcoming, but there were a few beggars.. We just kept our distance.
