Loved this port. We took a private tour with CubaOutings. We did a walking tour of Old Havana, had lunch in a paladar that was very good, and got to tour the city, visit Fusterlandia, and drive the Malecon in a ‘55 Chevy Bel Air convertible. I was so interesting to chat with our guide about everyday life in Havana. I wish we had gotten tickets for one of the night club shows— Buena Vista Social Club, the Parisian, or the Tropicana.

First day tour provided by Royal Caribbean was a little too politicised and gave very little explanation on a visited places. The gide got really enthusiastic at liquor-cigar shop, she brought us on the tour. I could feel that this is the main goal of ours - to buy rum and cigars. Second day walking tour on historical Havana was much more interesting and educational. that tour came from Shore Excursion Group. The guide really knew Havana history and shared it with us.

I didn't do an excursion, just walk around visiting local stores to do some shopping. People seem friendly and helpful.

Great experience. Took the 8 hour city tour with highlights of Havana. It was truly a people to people tour with a great guide, interesting stops. Suggestion: take Euros or Canadian money to change as the American Dollar is charged a 10% plus fee when changing money the other currency 'no'. We changed $140 dollars. Ask for at least $40. in Cucs and the rest in smaller bills. Rum and Cigars are pushed along with tourist trinkets. You can buy the rum and cigars at the lunch stop and the trinkets at the last stop.

We went on the Best of Havana excursion which was about 7 hrs. This covered a lot of ground by bus and included lunch at what I expect is one of Havana's better government restaurants. Our tour guide was excellent and provided a lot of insight into life in Cuba. This tour stops at a large cemetery, one of Hemingway's houses, Revolution Square and Fusterland. The tour includes a stop at the San Jose Market which can be the stop you leave the tour if you want more that 25min to shop.
