The scenic Antigua & Beach tour was beautiful, the only downside was that the driving to get to the beach location severely limited time at the beach, only about 45 minutes. The location was gorgeous and the rum punch was enjoyed.

We did a horseback riding excursion which was nice, except the island is filthy, garbage all over the trails we were riding on and garbage and skinny dogs all over the beach. We attempted to shop a little right near the port. After ten minutes I gave up, the people were VERY pushy and shoving items in my face to buy. This is the only island we were on that we didn’t feel safe walking around. Our friends who went to the beach for the day had a similar experience. We did hear the other side of the island was MUCH nicer and cleaner from fellow cruisers but my first impression wasn’t a good one.

We did a tour of Traditional House, Pineapple farm and lunch at beach. Booked through Shoreexcursioneer. First time ever had a glitch with Shoreexcursioneer. Tour company Heavenly Tours very unprofessional. The Pineapple farm is just a large garden. Tour guide stayed on cell phone and not informative.

We didn’t book an excursion for this port; no need for a pressured schedule. We took a taxi to Turner Beach and had a lovely day. The beach was great and we enjoyed relaxing at a small beach restaurant that provided umbrellas and chairs. Free WIFI was a nice treat too! The beach was clean and the water was fantastic!
