I love thIs port! Love talking to the locals and shopping home made items. I always stop by Starbucks:) I feel safe walking around. Was sad to see the umbrellas haven’t been put back up. There are also a lot of buildings boarded up. Still a nice place though:)

Very impressed with this port. Wasn't sure what to expect and it all looked great. The excursion we took brought us to a lot of interesting sites along the Island and was very informative. Would highly recommend.

No excursions -- we've been here numerous times. We basically did a self-guided tour through the old city and just enjoyed the shops, food options and sunshine. It is easy to leave the ship and enter the old city. Highly recommend the tourist information center(s). They have a good colorful and informative free map that will help you navigate.

Wish we had more time here. We did our own excursion with spectrum surf. Took an Uber to nearby beach where kids could learn to surf. Highly recommend! Uber back into town to wander around - stopped for Mofongo per Uber drivers instructions - so good! Lots of walking and uneven narrow roads so wear good shoes. Will be back for sure. So beautiful.

San Juan is a favorite place for us. We booked the El Yunque excursion through Celebrity for March 30, and were not disappointed. It was heartwarming to see the Rain Forest recovering from Hurricane Maria. We recommend this excursion, since the Rain Forest has only been recently opened to the public again. Our tour guide was excellent, and the place we stopped for food was full of local cuisine, as well as a nice gift shop. The airport sells similar items but the prices are about a $1 more. We stayed in San Juan for a night before the cruise and 2 nights after the cruise. One notable restaurant was Cayo Caribe in Old San Juan. It served fresh seafood, and was a delicious meal there the night before the cruise. We did the Rum Tasting tour at Casa Bacardi on Sunday after the cruise, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We found that Bacardi is also recovering from Hurricane Maria. Isla Verde Beach is pristine. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the beach and, fortunately, hurricanes do not permanently destroy the ocean beaches. It is expected to take 50 years for the Rain Forest to fully recover from Hurricane Maria. We enjoyed our time in San Juan immensely and will most likely stay longer next time.

We did some shopping and headed to the fort! Not to bad of a walk but a lot of uphill walking. The fort had amazing views, and a lot to walk threw and plenty to see! If I ever went back I would do it again!!

Shopping was very close by, excursions were limited due to damage from Hurricane Irma . The island is still rebuilding. I spoke with an employee at one of the jewelry stores, very sweet lady, I wish i had gotten her name. My prayers go out to all the residents of Puerto Rico, still rebuilding. Tourism helps, so I encourage people to go! We walked to the fort, there is a lot of interesting history in Old San Juan.

Never had time to review but I’m doing so now. Oh my beautiful Puerto Rico, I just love everything about this island. I went 3 days before our cruise, just so my son could enjoy Puerto Rico (his first time visiting). We stayed at Marbella Del Caribe right on Isla Verde Ave, so that we can be right on the beach. We shopped, enjoyed the beach & visited Old San Juan & the forts. I also went to La Placita for a drink & a little dancing.
