No excursion..walked and explored on our own. Old San Juan is beautiful and has a lot of history.

This is actually one port where I would not book an excursion...at least not a city tour. You can easily walk from the ship to Old San Juan and explore that area yourself, which was far more interesting than the tour I took at one time. I really enjoyed visiting the fort on my own time and going to the water's edge on my own time but the tour, especially the stop at the Barcardi distillery, bored me to death. They tour I took there through Carnival even neglected to pick us up even though we showed back up at the allotted time. Overall I would say that Old San Juan is a great place to enjoy a port without beach time or a tour.

Loved the beauty of the city. The food was food network worthy. The Hotel Mirimar, where we stayed was beautiful and so helpful to us. Our driver became a member of our family! Thanks Josh!

We went on a walking tour of San Juan, we had an excellent guide. Highly recommended for a first visit, we will explore in our own for our next visit.

Had a blast! We ported on 6/11/2019. Beautiful island, people, and clean. Even though they are still on hurricane recovery mode the people made it a great experience. The weather was ward and so was the water. You make your own experience. Don't let the little things ruin your day. Remember you're on vacation.

This port is also beautiful but different. We noticed a lot of buildings pulling up to this one. We walked around and learned some of the history. Also visited the Fort and umbrella street. You can do lots of shopping here. No excursion

We love the history of this place and retraced our steps of the Old City. We also talked with many of our fellow passengers explaining the history of the blue cobble stones that still pave many of the streets. Works is being done to preserve the outer wall to the Old City.
