San Juan was a great port to embark on a cruise from. Old San Juan is a great city, full of history and culture. We loved visiting the El Morro Fort, seeing Fortaleza umbrellas, and eating at Barrachinas. The 500 plus years history of Old San Juan was so interesting to learn about and experience. We stayed in Puerto Rico 4 extra days after the cruise as well. We went to El Yunque National Forest and the island of Culebra, both were fun!

We always love coming back to San Juan. The old town feel is wonderful! we have never booked an excursion on this port because there is so much to do. We love walking around the old Fort and around the town to Vista the local shops!

Love Puerto Rico and it’s people! This was our second trip and it was better than the first. The people were friendlier and generally happy to have us visiting. We enjoyed the day walking around beautiful San Juan shopping and eating.

Beautiful place! Loved the building and the history of Puerto Rico! Lots of shopping places and old landmarks! Weather was very nice and in the night time it comes alive with culture! Recommend!

There is a FREE bus ride around Old San Juan that you can get on near the cruise port. You can hop off and on as frequently as you like. We found a boat ride around the harbor on TripAdvisor for $40 pp.

We went shopping in Old San Juan. It was beautiful to walk around the town and shop. We got recommendations on places to eat and it was well worth it!
