My daughter in law was born and raised there and my husband and I really enjoyed the beauty and sites there.

Not my favorite port but we made it work.

very good! they have a free pool, lazy river , beach. Honestly it was one of the better ports that i have visited.

Favorite port by far! We loved the Lazy River, or "Aquatic Bumper Cars" as I call it. It's not really a lazy river since you're dodging various objects and your fellow riders are bumping into you. If you're tall like me, bring a helmet or mind your head as you WILL get hit! I was not paying attention and got hit in the back of the head with a corner of a bridge.

Ocean World was fun!

Did not care about the commercialization of the port. No excursion.

Taino Bay has nice pool area, but the lazy river water is cloudy (not like a chlorinated pool). Pier shared with commercial ships unloading cargo all day with endless trucks and noise. Smell of garbage in the air. I recommend an excursion away from port area.

I gave this 5 stars because we did the coolest excursion I’ve ever done in my life. We did the waterfall excursion here and it was the funnest! The area is beautiful the guides were fantastic and encouraging and we’d do this excursion again in a heartbeat.

The excursion we took was to a bus trip around town with a stop an amber site, a walk through the town and then to a beach. The guide complained took much, the amber site and town were somewhat interesting but we went through them too fast and the beach was lousy.
