Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic Port Reviews

The private port area is really nice with the pool and shops. We did the waterfall excursion which everyone enjoyed. The excursion place is a machine though. Tons of people so be prepared for that.

We enjoyed our tour and everything was great except the restaurant on the beach. The server was rude and slow, the beer luke warm and the food terrible.

No excursions just a bit of shopping

Did an excursion to Monkey Land, this was my favorite Island and favorite excursion. We had fun and learned a lot about the Island.

Did City excursion and beach. Not much to see/do

We just did some shopping. Had a great day.

Went to Ocean World. Interesting dolphin, sea lion, and bird shows. Too artificial. Doesn't use beach/ocean.

Met us at dock with electric jitney and took us to and from shopping area. Liked this port best

The private tour we took was great. The tour guide was very personable. He treated the tour participants like family. He took his time with tour and members on the tour.

We had a nice time here and did all the sight seeing, Taino bay is great.
