Run of the mill Caribbean port.

Tantio bay was nice but crowded, once we left the port area it was a non stop constant haggle with guys wanting to give us a tour. They got down right rude when we said no thank you politely. So much so we turned around and went back in the ship

Easy to get around, locals friendly, helpful. Port area fantastic with pool, lazy River, shopping, etc.

We booked an excursion to Ocean World, cost was $130 Canadian, we booked it prior to sailing. We had a great time, motor coach from pier We got to see the dolphin show and shark feeding…. Also got the chance to feed 2000 lovebirds. You could also pay extra to swim with the dolphins, but it was like 15 to 30 mins in the water with them and it was expensive so we opted not to. Water bottles were $2 and the lunch buffet was included in our package: it was delicious definitely recommend. Wear sun lotion as the sun was extremely hot

Okay but not outstanding

Excursions good, but the new port facilities were terrific and FREE to use (lazy river, chairs, sand, etc). No beach there, but lots of sun.

The Taino Bay port area was lovely. I bought larimar jewelry, went to Monkey Island, and used the free pools. Monkey Island is an exhibit where you can interact with adorable squirrel monkeys. They climb on you and you can get photos taken with them. They seemed happy and well cared for. We loved it and would strongly recommend it.

Monkeyland is the Best!

Excellent shopping and a very enjoyable port.
