Did waterfall excursion. Very unique experience, but a huge amount of waiting around. I recommend to do once if you like adventure trips, but I would not do a second time.

This place is just awful and that dirty dolphin park you have to go to is depressing

It was a very long walk to get to meet our excursion guide. But the excursion Puerto Plata City Tour by Edwin Tours was fantastic.

There was an extremely long line when returning to the ship. Next time, they should have more areas open to get back on the ship.

If you don’t book and excursion here you will be bored. We did the Durajagua falls. Very very strenuous. I don’t recommend if are not a physically active person.

We did not take any tours, but walked from Port into town. Not the safest thing to do. People do NOT pay any attention to traffic signals so you're taking your life into your hands. Some of the streets we walked down we found littered with broken trash bags, some filled with dirty diapers. Did not feel safe walking down some of those streets. Shopping is no different than islands like Jamaica or Nassau. Nothing I was interested in.

excursion guides have very heavy accent. Can't understand them often.

Everyone was super nice but again over priced in the excursions

Did not have time to visit the town due to our excursion lasting longer than expected.
