VERY DISAPPOINTED in the port that we went to. The port was 30 minutes by car from the town which prevented us experiencing the culture. We were trapped or had to pay $150 for a round-trip taxi.

Never visited because they changed our itin

The only really decent excursion without any problems. The beach wasn't overcrowded, the lunch they served was much better than the other ones we had.

Hated this stop! Worst one ever. Don’t trust the people there. Take a excursion through the boat. Beaches were horrible compared to the other ones.

Walked around port. Beautiful pool area beach zip lines. No need to venture out.

We did 27 waterfalls booked through Viator. We were the first to get there which was great. When we left there was so many people waiting to start that it was hard to maneuver around. The hike took about 30 minutes but they allowed rest breaks.

Disappointing beaches.

Took an excursion that was not as advertised

Very clean, we didn't leave the compound, just didn't feel too safe outside, but it is what it is.

We did not stop in Puerto Plata and was given no explanation. I paid $246.00 for activities through a private company and lost that money.
