Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic Port Reviews

We were a party of 10. 2 of us spent time at Lazy River at the Port, and it was fabulous! 8 of us went on the ATV, waterfalls and monkeys excursion. The excursion was very good, but it lasted about 8 hours. They missed breakfast due to the early departure, and there was no lunch provided. They went all day without eating, and were famished when they returned. This excursion needs to be make sure there is access to lunch.

Not much to see.

We went to Ocean World Adventure Park. Pretty cool.

We love Puerto Plata. Returning to this lovely city was one reason we booked this cruise! We did a city tour plus beach. It needed to take out something because we only had 30 minutes at the beach.

My family and I were very pleasantly surprised on our first visit here. This island spend a lot of money to design and build a beautiful resort type area for cruisers to enjoy right off the pier. We loved it and hope to come her more often, much better than Tortola.

First time there. Very nice port. Our guide was very good and we saw alot of the city etc

Great port to visit. Restaurants, pool, tube river, and a variety of nice stores. We went to a Resort for a Day.

No excursion--had been there previously

Dominican Republic is a nice place to visit. We went on the monkey land adventure excursion. It was fun. The monkey's were a blast.

Sadly the excursion was cancelled. Not enough participants.
