We did not go to this port . This was passed over to take us to two ports that were not on original Itinerary

Very poor set up not mention to people that you were crossing water people had regular shoes.

Excelland excursion Visited Tobacco and Rum factories nice bus ride informative. lots of traffic but air conditioned bus made it ok

Walk around Port, Nice

The actual port where you disembark is amazing. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and even a lazy river. It's definitely designed to keep you in and spend money. You never need to leave port. If you are adventurous and want to see the real D.R. take tour. There are plenty of tours that give you the flavor of the D.R.

The people are friendly. The food was good.

Nice pool and shopping area right at the port. We enjoyed an excursion to Ocean World

We did a Nature tour which was very well run. The lunch was very pleasant. The tour guide was very accommodating.

We booked the cable car & tour excursion. This lasted 4 1/2 hours as planned and although the view was obscured by clouds, it was beautiful experience. After the 10min ride up the mountain, we were told of the history of Dominican side of the island and almost was able to view Puerto Rico. We rode down the mountain and were told rich history of the culture and land. Once in the capital, we toured the city center by foot. It was a beautiful experience that I would do again when I visit.

Our zipline and waterfall excursion left early and we missed it. Ended up going to playa dorado beach which was muddy and unappealing
