We did zip lining and horseback riding. Such a beautiful country. Was neat to see part of the city along with the greenery/mountains. Felt safe with the crew. Lots of fun.

We did the Cayo Arena Catamaran Tour and Fricolandia. It poured all day. Despite this, the tour operator wanted to get paid, so there was no contingency plan to cancel or reroute. We boarded a bus for a one hour trip to the catamaran, but since the road washed out, this took two hours on rough, bumpy roads through scenic slums. My GF vomited and several other passengers were given relief bags. After a revolt, we had the tour operator take us by bus straight to Fricolandia since a trip on the catamaran would have been like the opening scene from Gilligan's Island. Once at Fricolandia, we were served a buffet lunch complete with overpriced drinks. A bottle of 19 Crimes wine is about $10 in the US. Here it was $55 a bottle technically making it 20 Crimes if you include the highway robbery. Between the lack of anyone speaking English here and all of the thatched roofing leaking, it was no fun at all. Where's Phil Swift, the Flex-Seal guy when you need him?

It is my first time at Taino Bay, a very beautiful port. We almost didn't get off because we had been to the Dominican Republic numerous times.

Loved this port! I did a "tasting tour", where we got to sample foods from 3 local restaurants, plus rum tasting at a local distillery. Great fun!

One of our worst port experiences. Purchased the Dorado beach experience. We were taken to a beach then told that they couldn’t accommodate us. The. We were driven to another beach at another property of the hotel. After driving around and asking for instructions we were finally able to start our beach day. From my view point there seem to be a need to improve organizing this particular excursion. Especially since there was only about 14 of us that we to on it. Nonetheless, my real problem with this excursion is that what I had hope would be a day of relaxing for us, turned into three hours of nonstop harassment from vendors. I could not wait to get off that beach. I wish that we had never left the ship or simply remained at the port.
