Took the walking tour of Puerto Plata and the last stop was the rum factory with tasting of 8 different kinds.

Got to see live birds and how the people dress there.

The DR was beautiful and I loved seeing the culture and those who inhabit the land. It was more of a personal connection that I took away from this stop. The warm humid weather was nice, the dune buggy excursion we did was also fun and worth it.

Good shopping wide variety.

I dislike this island-had three bad experiences there

Very impressed. We had an excursion this day and I really wish we had more time to explore the port itself. There was so much to do without having to venture out. It was very clean and welcoming.

Beautiful and options

We had pre-purchased tickets to Monkey land. It was amazing! Learned about Dominican coffee, culture and played with monkeys.

Nice — we did a cruise around town, into the countryside and took the sky lift from the Christ the Redeemer statue to downtown and port. Good excursion.
