Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic Port Reviews

I had no idea this is what our day in Puerto Plata, DR was about. You get off the ship at Taino Bay. It's very nice. There are a lot of cute little shops, places to eat, drink. There is a beautiful, huge pool, lazy river. You don't have to leave this area. We walked around Puerto Plata, ate there, and found an umbrella street that was very beautiful. I didn't know they had one. I only thought Puerto Rico did.

Fun shops and entertainment and free pool right off the Ship

No excursion…Enjoyed the pool and shopping!

Excursion tour of the island was absolutely wonderful, but not through Celebrity!

Fricolandia was a very nice getaway. Rocky beach though.

too costly for a taxis around the city's center; there weren't much to see

My favorite port! They have a pool and lazy river that you can use for free. Lots and lots of stores! Much more than any other port. This was a great stop. You did not even have to leave the port to enjoy the stop there.

i booked a excursion at the pier and had a time with Pablo Luciano. they really exceeded expectations.

Best Caribbean port area I've seen. Very nice complimentary pool and lazy river accessible by guests. Nice bars, restaurants and shops. Clean and air conditioned rest rooms. Was very pleasantly surprised.
