The excursion guide kept telling us how safe the city is. I questioned as I observed graffiti and barb wire over fences. He was very informative about all aspects of the city. I would have liked more about the culture.

We diverted to Samana. The whole island drive was not pleasant - also very trashy. There is trash everywhere we looked.

Highly recommend the Cayo Arena & Fricolandia tour. The Cayo Arena had one of the most amazing reefs I've ever snorkeled. We didn't want to leave but we then went to Fricolandia for an amazing buffet and beach time. Just a wonderful day.

The whole entire trip was ok. We swam with dolphins at Ocean World and it was worth every penny!
