coconut cove beach was nice

It isn’t really Puerto Plata, but a facility built for cruise ships. As such, it is very nice. It has big pools that are free to use and interesting shops.

Ocean World was a bit of a let down exhibit/show wise, but all of the staff were friendly and got some great souvenirs that were not overly marked up in price.

I will not waste my time for anything extra at any pots. However, the island is beautiful

We did the damajagua waterfall excursion. It was intense and beautiful.

Would love to go back here and explore! We did an excursion to Ocean World which was ok but kinda like being in Sea World in the 1980's.

Port was clean and quiet. It is new and commercialized but safe with limited distractions. We did the waterfalls tour. It was fun to jump from one waterfall to the next but there a A LOT of people there. Expect long lines and many groups.

Walked around town. It was ok.

Taino bay is nice. Excellent pool area. Party environment. Good until clowns show up. They always do.
