Not many good excursions unless you book early and limited shipping with no city at the port.

Not much to do except shop.

The port was in its infancy. I wouldn’t recommend & didn’t leave the port shopping area. The town and surrounding area wasn’t developed and ready for cruise passengers. Poverty was rampant & infrastructure was poor. We had planned to go into town, but I demanded the cab driver to turn around and return to port after witnessing the conditions as described. We got back onboard and enjoyed the ship. We will not return to this port by choice, if we do…we’ll stay aboard.

Not much to do in this port and security/safety was an issue outside the gates. We did the Choo-Choo train excursion.. Our excursion had armed security/police surrounding us the entire time. I would not recommend this excursion. Other guided excursions were safe and good, but not ours. Can not walk outside the port gates alone due to safety. I would not recommend a self guided tour of this port.

Boring as well you can’t swim in the water as it is protected. Carnival should have a free beach shuttle.

Not much offered with good reviews. Just looked in a couple of shops. Shots were too crowded.

Just visited port stores. Tours escorted by armed guards.
