By far our favorite day! Definitely get off the ship as fast as you can so that you get a clamshell umbrella. The beach and water is perfect. The food provided by the cruise line is wonderful too. We enjoyed a completely relaxing g beach day.

Wife and I loved HMC. Booked it again. Powder white sands and crystal clear water. Only thing that is frustrating is the Cheers package doesn't apply there. That adds up quickly. Other cruise lines extend their drink packages to their private islands. Come on Carnival.

It's been two years since we got to stop here, but it's beautiful. We could see the shore on our last cruise, but the captain decided that the water was too rough to stop. Absolutely gorgeous beach, i hope we can make it back sometime.

One of the nicest beaches in the world. I love this place and this is the reason I booked this cruise. We walked about halfway to the end of the beach well past all of the crowds and there were two lounge chairs hidden in the trees waiting for us. Can’t wait to go back here!

No excursion needed! Beach and water was the most beautiful you'll find! Chairs are provided, as the island is owned by Carnival. You can rent a clamshell but we found shade easily but just walking down the beach a little further. They also have varying buildings to rent for the day as well. I'm glad they were all reserved by the time we found out about them. I don't think they're worth the additional cost, just my opinion. I didn't care for the lunch buffet that was provided for free. The food was basic to me, not as tasty as I imagined (many reasons I felt this was, as others in our group enjoyed it thoroughly, I may have just been too hot?). The water shuttle (used to be called tender) was an easy ride to/from the island.

My kids and I loved Half Moon Cay. We did the Sting Ray Adventure excursion, although it was short, it was great. The Bbq was nice as well. The powdery sand was nice to walk in. My wife laid out on the beach and loved it.

This was our favorite part of the cruise. The beaches are amazing. It was so relaxing. We could have skipped our other ports and stayed there and I would have been happy.
