No need to waste your money on excursions, the beach is all you need. Rent a raft and some scuba gear, you'll be fine.

Half Moon Cay was the most beautiful beach I've been too. The water was crystal clear.. BEAUTIFUL.. Carnival thru the best beach party ever!!

There aren't enough stars to rate HMC!!!! LOVED IT! The water was a little chilly but once you got use to it you were fine! Such pretty water and sand. Loved that there wasn't someone walking up and down the beach trying to sell you bags, shirts or wanting to braid your hair! The free BBQ was also good. Burgers were way better than Guy's Burgers!!!!! I'm not a fan of Guy's.

I love HMC -I have been twice! On my 2nd trip I swear there was a moon jellyfish but no one in my party would let me investigate. I was just floating and I touched something weird (honestly my first thought was why was someone breast implant floating here). I saw it floating again and I fell off my raft and lost sight of it. I insisted I find it and someone in my party stole my raft and forced me away from the area. I still think of my jellyfish friend often. I guess I will just have to go back and visit.

This is a port I was not even excited about because I did not do my research! On my last cruise this was my favorite stop because of how quiet and non-touristy it was.

I agree with others best stop of the trip. Hung out in the water drinking ALL DAY. LOL so much fun. Just remember this island is very hot. Put the spf right to ya
