It rained and stormed literally all day. We were able to get off on the island though. It was still just like paradise and we loved this island!! Water was crystal clear and sand was so soft and clean! They made us leave the island early because the wind got too bad. I know they can’t control the weather, but wish they would have made up for the missed time here.

This was the prettiest of all the islands we visited. The water was crystal clear and absolutely lovely. I have mixed feelings about the excursion we chose. We did the swimming with stingray adventure. I have done this before in the wild and it was exhilarating. The stingrays at Half Moon Cay are actually in a netted area and you get to feed one. I think there are like 3 stingrays all together. None of them had their barbs. That's all. Having done it in the wild and having dozens of them swimming around you was completely different. If you've never done it, I guess it would be fun. We met people who went horseback riding in the water at Half Moon Cay. If I could do it all over again, I would choose that. The pictures were incredible and it absolutely looked magical. You could also go without booking an excursion - there's plenty to do.

Best port for beach day! Beautiful beach! Water was crystal clear and perfect temperature! The crab legs were heavenly at the seafood shack and the bars were good too (they are run by the bartenders on the ship since it is carnivals private island)

Next month will be our first trip to half moon cay. For those who have rented a CLAMSHELL I am wondering the process. Do you rent it at guest services or when you arrive at the island? They look large. Do you need one per person? Also curious of the cost. Thanks for any information.

We knew the drill having stopped at this port on the first leg of our B2B, so we picked up numbers for the water shuttle once they were out but before it was announced where they would be. After contacting a fellow traveler we chose #24 to miss the crowd. My only complaint was that the people taking the tag numbers didn’t pay attention to the number of the passenger, as there were people on our shuttle with #45 and only those up to #28 had been called. It saddens me that people think the rules are for others and not themselves. Again this passenger component was more rude (nothing Carnival can really do about that).

This is by far my favorite port!! Gorgeous beach and water. So beautiful. You use your sign and sail card here as it's a private island owned by Carnival. We did the jet ski excursion which was fantastic! Then hubg out at the beach and drank. Great music and BBQ
