Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island) Port Reviews

I really love to come here, get a lounge chair, order a drink and bask in the sun until I decide to take a dunk in the water, which is usually pretty decent, (I was here over Christmas and it was quite warm). Love to go to the eating shelter first and fill up on burgers-fresh cooked on the grill, along with other food items. A really nice island that improves every time I visit. Definitely a five star for this half moon.

This is a great stop. It makes for a wonderful beach day. The water is so clear and the sand is so soft, almost like baby powder! The view is unbelievable!!

This was such a great place! Breath taking view of all the colors in the water. You could watch the fish in the water too. The perfect island to be stranded on.

How do you get a Package & what they range from & is it worth buying? Is there any good eating places I should go to? How is the Beach & is the weather perfect this time of the year? Will I need to take a backpack

Our favorite stop, so peaceful and clean and basically untouched or ruined. The water is so clear and blue, could stay there forever. We would recommend this island to everybody.

This was a huge disappointment for us, snorkel equipment was sold out all day, the food was far from the beach, and you had to use your sail and sign to get a drink even if you had the cheers package, I still don't understand why your charged for a drink if served and provided by the ships staff if you paid the amount you did for the drink package. Needless to say we did spend much time on beach.

Beautiful island, beautiful water, friendly staff. Took a very long time to get off of the boat.

Hi! Sailing out on April 8th on the Carnival Elation. Does anyone know how the weather generally is this time of year? Had rough seas back in Jan and didn’t get to tender over to the island ☹️ fx for great weather April 10! I’m so excited.

You will wait FOREVER to get off the boat and FOREVER to get back on the boat. Bring sunscreen because there isn't any shade

The most beautiful spot on the cruise...that water...sigh.... i could have stayed in it all day. Carnival sets out quite a nice lunch spread!!
