Our absolute favorite port. We took everyone’s recommendation and walked all the way down to jacks shack. $10 for 2 lounge chairs and umbrella. Best deal. Drinks were pricier then some of the other spots we passed along the beach walk. $5 domestic beer $6 non domestic and mixed drinks all $10 😩 But the beach was beautiful and we swam all day. Staff super friendly! Beach well worth the walk down.

This was my 1st visit to the island so we rented a golf cart [since my companion has been there many times] and we drove all over the island. First stop was at Blue Water Divers to drop off supplies we had packed for the children which are distributed though "Pack with a Purpose". They need so much after the storms of 2016-17. Then on to the Lighthouse and enjoyed the view. Got to see many 'wild Donkeys' wondering about letting us take pictures of them. Stopped by a local grocery store to look around - which we like to do in every port if possible. Stopped at a local church and spoke to the people about the damage to the island in the previous years hurricanes. They recommended a local restaurant for Conch Fritters, so off we drove to Barbie's for lunch. Food was delicious except that the black flies attacked as soon as the food was delivered. On tour way back to the ship we stopped by the airport at the tribute to the landing of John Glenn's Friendship 7, on Feb. 20, 1962. Still had time for a dip in the beautiful blue water before reboarding the ship. Can't wait to return.

OUR 4TH TIME AT THIS PORT. IT'S THE BEST SHORE SNORKELING WE'VE DONE OUT OF SEVERAL OTHER PORTS WE'VE BEEN TO. THE CARNIVAL CHAIRS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO USE (FREE), AND THE MARGARITAVILLE BAR AND POOL AREA (ALSO FREE TO USE) CAN'T BE BEAT. THE CATAMARAN/SNORKEL EXCURSION IS ALSO EXCELLENT. THE SHOPPING IS CONVENIENT AND PLENTIFUL TOO RIGHT IN PORT.

Loved GT! Residents are friendly and helpful. We'll go back. Definitely want to bring swim shoes for the coral near the cruise dock. Have to see the old US satellite base there.

A very hot day so we just walked the beach. Stopped and had a local beer and again used the free WiFi to check in with the home front. Returned to the ship to cool off in the air conditioning. We’ll be back in January (twice in the two weeks of our B2B).

When everyone got off the ship & sat on tiny, crowded beach chairs to the left, we hopped in a quick cab for our Resort for the Day. The resort, Bohio Dive Resort, only allows a limited number of outside guests so the beach stays private. It was gorgeous & felt like we had the entire place to ourselves! The resort included an island-fare lunch, which was delish & free WiFi. It was worth every penny!
