Used free clamshells on the south side , not the best swimming but you can walk to north side if you want . Massage just beyond clamshell $20 for 15 minutes . Moved on to blue whale for food. Best pina colada ever . Got some free WiFi , conch fritters , coconut shrimp and wings . This little spot redeemed the north side of island where coconut vendor tried charging us $25 for lounger and threatened us with calling security if we didn’t get up or pay as these weren’t free . Apparently only the green umbrellas were free but that wasn’t explained until I went to find security myself . Certainly left us with a nasty taste . on an island that has nothing to offer but limestone , you’d think the “staff “ on the north side of beach would be more pleasant and welcoming . Definitely sure I’m not going back ever !

The Home Sweet Home excursion offered through Carnival is awesome. We actually booked this a second time because we enjoyed it so much the first time. You have access to a private home that is immaculate, a delicious lunch, endless rum punch, a private beach, and peace and quiet.

We rented a golf cart and toured the whole island of Grand Turk. After all, it's only 7 miles! It was $120 for the three of us to rent one golf cart. I think this is a perfect thing to do because you can explore the island and stop at more private beaches along the way. The drive was beautiful. I have never seen such turquoise water right in the middle of darker blue water. It was all on the right as you went to the lighthouse. Pillory beach was a private beach we found on the side of the road we explored the town. We turned at a street beside the market because I noticed a side street along the beach. They had food cooking on the grill to sell. We went to the lighthouse where we saw lots of donkeys, and that is something that you don't expect to see on an island! But, they are everywhere. The lighthouse had a little park there to roam around and also a bar. It was only $3 to get in. In the parking lot, there was a lady there that sold carrots to feed the donkeys.

Grand Turk is a wonderful island to visit. My fiancé and I won a Safari jeep excursion from Carnival last year while on our cruise. The safari jeep excursion was brought to us by Oasis bus company. The driver (Rodney) was very knowledgable with the island as we drove around. We stopped at a private beach, a donkey reservation and a restaurant were you got to try their brand of beer "Turks Head." When we go on future cruises with Carnival, we make sure that Grand Turk Island is a port that we will be visiting! :)

We took the island tour. Albert was a great guide. He reminded me of Morgan Freeman. Saw wild donkeys and when we pulled up to the lighthouse 5 or 6 of them came running out of the bushes to be fed and petted. Lots of roof damage due to hurricane. Tiny island. Most of it looked like a dump site except for a narrow street that was lined with hotels. The hotels were old houses, very quaint and a stones throw from the gorgeous turquoise/Aqua water. A small market place also lined the road where we got off to shop. Very, very polite shop keepers but very, Very pushy. They had lots of different artwork/paintings but it was difficult to look and decide as the owners were desperately trying to persuade me to buy. Still glad I took the tour.

Not much to do here. Margaritaville was fun. Swam for a bit then walked down the beach to Jack’s Shack and got to see Topher the beach dog!! Was a nice relaxing beach day.

I think Grand Turk has been our favorite port so far on the cruises we’ve been on. Enjoyed a day in a beach chair with a bucket of local beer, conch fritters at Jacks Shack looking at crystal clear waters. Honestly nothing has compared to that!!! Wishing I was there now!!
