Crowded

A lot of construction going on at the port but there was a nice size flea market beyond that. The stay was short and did not provide much opportunity to enjoy the Bahamian culture

The weather was not great, which was not in anyone’s control, but the only thing here to do that was worthwhile seemed to be Resorts World. We wandered on our own and there is really nothing in Bimini unless you pay outrageous tourist prices for a gold cart and drive around. We will probably not stop here again but opt for a different place in the Bahamas.

We did have some wild dogs follow us around the island as we walked it. They were very sweet and friendly. The beach on the local side with the ship wreck was neat.

Despite a lot of people saying they didn’t like it we enjoyed it. We got a golf cart and explored on our own. It was a fun experience. We ate at a restaurant over the water where you can swim (at your own discretion) but beware there were sharks and stingsrays swimming all around the restaurant! Sorry I completely forgot to get a pic but the building is pink.

Not enough time to enjoy

The island isn't ready for big cruise ships yet. This is only the 2nd year that Carnival has been going there. I would wait 10 to 15 years to give time to build it up and make it more like other ports you're used to visiting on cruises. The best thing about the port was how friendly, cordial and inviting the locals are.

No excursion, we just mainly hung out at Radio Beach and toured the area.
