The island is very dirty and the people are relentless trying to sell their stuff. Avoid the dolphin swim (more like petting a dolphin) as you are the only one swimming. If you get the chance, climb Dunn's River!!!!

Enjoyed Dunns River Falls-the climb was exhilarating & the mineralized water from the mountains is great for your skin! Also went to the beach near the cruise port, beautiful water!

Did not get to go

Horrible, rushed by 100's of salesmen as soon as your port. I will never go back.

Didn't feel safe. Port is absolutely horrible. As soon as you get off the ship if you are not doing an excursion and decide to walk to the public beach be prepared to be hounded by taxi drivers and people offering drugs.

I wish we could have wondered around a bit more, but with the travel advisory, it wasn't a good idea, a month earlier another cruise line took out the main dock, so the walk into town was a bit much, but our cab driver stuck with us and took us up to the falls after shopping, it worked out well.

Children kept getting asked if they wanted a smoke of marijuana.

Dunns River falls well worth the trip! we had a driver take us up to the mountains afterwards to see a spectacular view of Ocho Rios!

Jamaica was great. must see Dunn River. Love to have had more time to shop. Didn't have time to visit the restaurants.

Dunn's River Falls was the only attraction. It was cool to climb the falls. The beach area at this location was not great. We went on the Trimarin Snorkeling/Dunn's River Falls excursion. We loved the sail boat. The snorkeling was disappointing. I expected to see more fish swimming around the reef.
