Explored caves. Fun

Our absolute FAVORITE port. Again, booked an off boat private taxi for $20 a person. 5 hours and saw the REAL Ocho Rios. Spent 2 hours on a private beach the locals go to. Ate Jerk Chicken and Goat Stew. Had a private tour of the “jungle” farms on Spice Mountain, showing us how Rastafarians live off the land. Absolutely incredible. We will be coming back to Ocho again to stay a week very soon. Already missing the Jamaican Apples and Custard Apples we picked…sooo good.

Relaxing day at Bamboo Beach Club.

We booked a private tour that was not associated with NCL. We paid a lot less money and got a great tour of the area and had lunch at a local establishment. If you get out and away from all the tourist stuff, Jamaica is a beautiful country.

I didn't find the people in this port very friendly. It was beautiful, however.

We have been to Jamaica before and said we were not going to get off of the ship the next time we go. But we did get off and it just confirmed. If you’re not going to do an excursion in Jamaica don’t get off the boat.

Always get accosted in Jamaica. There is alot of pressure from the locals to buy, it borders on harrassment. We only shopped a short while and went back to the ship.

Too long to write this review, however, I will say do not book the tubing and bamboo beach excursion.

No excursion on the entire trip because there were no handicap accessible vehicles in any port.
