Highly recommend a shore tour. There is a straw market sort of area at the port with each vendor selling nearly the same items.

Did Dunn's River Falls and Mystic Mountain. VERY CROWDED and lots of chaos with transportation, etc. I did not feel that the excursions were well laid out. It was fun, but not quite as good as I had expected. Guides at Dunn's River Falls were basically begging for tips. :(

I did Dolphin Cove and swan with the dolphins. It was an amazing experience that I would recommend to everyone and anyone!

Didn't really care for this port. Locals are extremely pushy and in your face.

Great port. But aware. There is always some Jamaican somewhere trying to sell you something. My son was approached by a drug dealer.

We didn’t like the port all that much. We didn’t do an excursion, but instead hired someone to take us to interesting places that were nearby. We felt as though we were constantly hounded by people to give them money or to buy something. Doing an official excursion might have been a better choice.
