AMAZING!! Take advantage of Mahogany Beach! Sweetest people! Totally relaxing! Amazing beach area! Unlimited access pass to the “Magical Chairs” is TOTALLY worth! One of my favorite ports!! ❤️❤️

Great time here! Walked to the beach and had an amazing time with my wife. The beach is close to the pier, has good snorkeling opportunities, is very clean and family friendly. No shortage of seating in both sun and shade and there is a nice outdoor/open air bar and grill at the far end of the beach. Very nice day in port.

Very beautiful as soon as you get off the boat. We went to Daniel's Sloth and Monkey Sanctuary. Its about a 15 minute drive from the port. Can't say enough good stuff about that place. Highly recommend.

Loved loved loved this place! I give it 4 stars bc we did NOT have enough time here at all! We needed ab 3 more hours. We did the monkey pirate and bird excursion and it was beyond amazing!!!!! Our only 2 complaints is we didn't have enough time here and we wish we could have had more time "MONKEYING" around with the monkeys. We needed probably ab 20 to 25 more minutes of monkey time. But it was amazing and we had so much fun! The monkeys would jump on you and just jump from one thing to another. They also tried to take my hair toe out of my hair but I didn't mind it at all. This excursion was so unforgettable! My kids now want a monkey. The port itself had just enough shopping for my liking and it was clean and beautiful. Loved this port and area. No pressure to buy here. Just wish the poverty level wasn't so high here. This was my favorite of the 4 ports we went to.

Went with Bodden tours, couldn't have been happier & much cheaper than a carnival excursion. $30.00 pp to have your own private tour guy all day. If you want to see the monkey & sloths it's an extra $5.00. Anything else you may want to do will cost extra. Went to the chocolate factory and did a tour but didn't cost except for a donation. Free samples. Then went to Argentina beach and restaurant, nice place, good food, good drinks. Lots of vendors coming up to you but our tour guide would tell them to leave. He was our bodyguard for the day too. Kenton was a tour guide st first but became family as he took amazing care of us.

First time to cruise to Roatan and we were a little disappointed with our excursion. We booked the Top 10 Best of Roatan and got the top 5 best. The van air conditioning was good, and our driver and guide were nice, but it did not have 10 highlights and every stop was a sales pitch. The Iguana Farm was the best experience, the Rusty Fish is just a stop to shop, and most everybody opted to stay in the van, the Cameo Factory was a sales pitch, but the building is neat. and the Rum Company was just for sales. They told us they didn't make the rum there, but the view off the back deck is amazing, you can see the reef that surrounds the island. The Chocolate Factory was just another place to purchase goods (not a factory), and while we all waited for the van we were bombarded with locals wanting to give messages on the roadside. It was nice to see the island from that perspective, but next time we will stick with a beach excursion. The interior of the island is very poor and extremely dirty with all of the water canals filled with trash, soda cans and plastic bottles. The infrastructure is terrible. We were mostly upset about being misled by Carnival's promotion of inaccuracies.

Easy to leave the ship. Very well organized port to find designated excursion groups. We booked the Ultimate Adventure Combo. I did a couple zip lining tours before, but it was Mark’s first experience. Our guides were very knowledgeable and experienced. They took any hesitation or fear to make everyone comfortable and actually enjoying the thrill. If 6 years old (the guides did tandem zip lining with the youngsters) or 60+ years old (like us) and anyone in between: We all had a blast. The combo incorporated 3 different adventures: The Superman zip line, 11 combined zip lines with extreme heights and speeds, and the jungle tour passing 7 suspension bridges. Between the different adventures we always transferred back to our starting point where we had our personal belongings in lockers, could get refreshments or snacks, and use the bathrooms. At the end we could buy our pictures downloaded on a USB stick for a small amount (we paid $20 for a set of 18 pictures). We learned a lot about the culture, flora and fauna. Overall a wonderful excursion well worth any money we spent, but never forget to bring small change for tipping!

Mahogany Bay port area is beautiful and has a lovely clean beach. We spent most of the day on a tour to Roatan and was glad to see Roatan...but I recommend talking to someone who has been there before booking a day out. Personally we enjoyed seeing how the locals live and getting a feel for local life on the island. Returned to the port in the afternoon and enjoyed the clean and manicured Mahogany Bay Area (beaches, and shops) until boarding time.

We didn't do an excursion. The beach is good with a nice area of water to swim in.
