We did a city tour and rum distillery tour. We really enjoyed our day! There is plenty of shopping at port. We loved Belize it was pretty. Can’t wait to go back.

This private island sucked. The best part about it was the zip line. The Landshark was the only place to eat and the food was mediocre and the drinks were HORRIBLE. The bartender made my mudslide with a coconut base instead of a vanilla base. I spit it out on the table accidentally because it was just awful. The burger I had was incredibly dry. There are very few shops and the pool area was completely full by the time we finished our excursions and no chairs on the beach could be found. We ended up back on the ship by 1pm and I had to stop at the buffet on board for lunch because I couldn’t finish my burger from the restaurant because it was so bad.

Great if you want a beach break and the weather is nice. If you have them, you can spend your shore credits on locker rentals, and things like SUP or kayaks (pedal boats not recommended ;-). The ziplines here were super expensive and pretty limited, so we did not do them. Again, weather was a factor - it poured in the am at disembarkation time, so we waited. It did clear and the bonus was that it was not crowded at all. We had booked a clamshell which probably wasn't worth it in the end because there were so few people there that getting a spot was not an issue. Nice swimming beach and splash park. Pool was big and beautiful. You have to pay for the food, but our margarita with chips and guacamole was excellent (if not a great "deal").

I recommend doing an excursion in port, just a few shops in the small port area, we chose the cave tubing with lunch offered through carnival, had an amazing time, tour guides gave us a history of the city and all the areas we drove through during our 1.5 hour bus ride to the excursion..back at port we shopped a lil then took tender back to boat

The Eco Monkey River Tour delivered monkeys and Tarantulas! Please make sure you wear waterproof shoes. They will get wet in the boat. Oh yeah...The boat goes VERY FAST to get you all the way to Monkey River. It's really exciting.

I wish we would have stayed at the port and not done the excursion. The beach was beautiful and we missed it :)
