We needed an easy going day, so we did not book an excursion. We did book with the ships photographers to do a photo shoot. Marco and Michael with Prospective Photography Studios came out to the beach with us an for an hour and captured some fantastic family portraits. The kids loved the guys and hammed it up quite nicely. This port is owned by NCL so no peddlers to deal with on the beach or even feeling of pushy people in the shops as you passed by. We had a mishap with one of the kids and being so close to the ship made it easy to run back to our room. The beach was beautiful and clean, there is a kids splash pad and plenty of clean restrooms. As a family, we didn't need an excursion. Everything to relax, snack and enjoy the sand on our toes was all there.

Port was a bit spread out, not a ton of shopping but plenty of souvenir options. Did the Monkey River Eco Tour and it was very interesting and informative! BRING BUG SPRAY FOR THIS EXCURSION. I can not stress this enough.

After reading the reviews I did not expect much and it didn't let me down. Not impressed at all. it is just a NCL money grab, crappy food, overpriced drinks, not much to do.

Harvest Caye was beautiful. We had great weather, the pool was awesome and the beach was lovely. We rented pedal boats on the lagoon, but this turned out to be too much for me due to physical limitations. This is NCL's private island and I felt the drinks package should have applied at Harvest Caye. We paid for our drinks which were pricey.

Recommendations needed please. Looking to book an excursion on our family vacation on carnival in August. We are taking our daughter and two grandchildren 8 and 9 year old and our 19 year old. Thanks for any and all suggestions. 🏝
