If you want a lounger or chair near the pool, get off as early as you can. If you head into the area later, you'll find plenty of loungers down near the beach and it's a beautiful view.

This port or isle belongs to Norwegian, so that was amazing to sit and enjoy a literal private port or beach. I have a sunburn to match my day. My SO snorkeled again and said it was fabulous.

Nice port, but very far away from the island to connect with our excursion. Excursion to Spice Farm was great, but less impressed with Mayan Ruin.

My mom would give it 5 stars because it was her favorite day -- literally walk off the ship, down the pier, and into a beach chair to read her book all day. THAT is her idea of vacation! I started getting antsy after a few hours just laying in the beach chair, but it was a very nice place! Surprised the beach sand was a bit rocky; I went back to get my flip flops instead of walking barefoot to/from the water. Food and drinks were okay. Enough little shops to walk around, get a couple souvenirs, etc. I liked the little Absolut Bar that was near the pool. Cute souvenir glass/can they had for sale.

Nice port. We went to a place where they made chocolate, and learned the culture of the Mayans. Very interesting. They fed us a Belizean lunch. Delicious!

Nice beach resort with a small zoo. There was a butterfly farm, lots of parrots. We enjoyed the place a lot.

Enjoyed the pool, and butterfly enclosure. We had rain on and off so it was a short day on shore.

Belize was our only fun day on land. The island felt safe and secure with lots of water features. The sand was coarse so difficult to walk but the views were pretty. They had a splash pad for children but no pool for the toddler.

There wasn’t much to do. We had an expensive lunch and walked around the shops.

This port was nice and relaxing. Food was good, drinks were cold and we had a great time in our private cabana. We also did the Placencia Mangrove tour, which I would not recommend. Boat was packed and we saw the tops of two manatees.
