Ok Harvest Caye it self is alright but it’s not Belize, if you want to experience the real Belize go take the ferry from Harvest Caye to Placencia you will not be disappointed! You get the ferry tickets at the shore excursions desk ; buy them embarkation day, We pre booked with Roam Belize took their Zipline and Waterfall excursion it was fantastic , the island country side is beautiful!

Did a excursion to spice farm, it was interesting. Shopping was very commercialized.

Not my favorite place. Lot of walking. Wife did a snorkeling excursion. Was disappointed. Water was not clear and disorganized.

Did not do an excursion and just enjoyed the beach. It was a great beach and the local shopping was nice to look around at.

We read about NCL's agreement with the Gov't of Belize and knew going in that we would have to pay for drinks/food, etc. The island is beautiful and yes we had to pay for the food and drinks, but it was much higher quality than we have experienced with previous private islands. I was happy to more directly help the locals and give the ship staff a little break from me and the other 4,000 demanding cruisers.
